It's not just a slogan, it's the heart of all that we do...
We at Ohio Valley Bank pledge to make a difference in our communities.
Whether its volunteering to plant flowers or providing guidance for non-profit groups or inspiring others to shop locally, when there is good work to be done, you will find someone from OVB close by.
By declaration from President and CEO Tom Wiseman, each Ohio Valley Bank employee is entitled to one day out of the office to work on a community service project.
In 2014 our bankers spent over 1,963 hours to help build homes with Habitat for Humanity, plant flowers with America in Bloom, spread cancer prevention awareness with Relay for Life, and even to take homeless dogs for a walk to brighten their lonely day at the local animal shelter. No job is too big or too small when it benefits our community.
Ohio Valley Bank believes so much in its community, that it donated more than $445,000 locally in 2014. In addition to that amount, OVB employees personally donated over $22,000 through the OVBC Employee Community Fund.
