We at Ohio Valley Bank pledge to make a difference in our communities. 

Whether it is volunteering to plant flowers or providing guidance for non-profit groups or inspiring others to shop locally, or opening our doors for free events for the community, when there is good work to be done, you will find someone from OVB close by.

2019

 

Now Thru December 31 - Food Drive. Canned and non-perishable food is being collected at OVB Point Pleasant to benefit Mason County food banks.

 

Now Thru December 9 - OVBC Christmas Express. Our giant local toy drive for area underprivileged children is starting up for another season. Accepting new toy and monetary donations. If you represent a business that would like to be a drop-off point, please email communityfirst@ovbc.com

 
Nov. 14 - Annual Veterans Appreciation Lunch. All military veterans welcome for lunch on OVB. Held at the Ohio Valley Bank Annex at 143 Third Avenue in downtown Gallipolis at 11 a.m. No RSVP needed.
 
Nov. 15 - Thankful for You Event at OVB Gallipolis Walmart office. From 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. enjoy sweet treats and enter to win fabulous fall prizes including a Thanksgiving dinner basket.
 
Nov. 19 - Annual Evening of Thanks at OVB Point Pleasant. Make the holiday extra special for your young ones by bringing them to this meaningful evening with crafts, face painting, games, treats, and more. Held after the bank officially closes. The event doors are open from 6:15 - 7:30 pm.
 
Dec. 14 - Cookies and Cocoa with Mrs. Claus at OVB Milton. Kids can settle in with a warm cocoa and sweet bite as they listen to a special reading of The Night Before Christmas. Event starts at 11 45 a.m.
 
 

Impact Days

By declaration from CEO Tom Wiseman, each Ohio Valley Bank employee is entitled to one day out of the office to work on a community service project. Have a need for volunteers? Email us at communityfirst@ovbc.com


As of April 2019, our bankers spent over 15,000 hours in service to charities and community projects. No job is too big or too small when it benefits our community.
