GALLIPOLIS, Ohio - OVB steps in to protect its debit and credit card holders during the Target store breach. Target confirmed yesterday that customers making purchases between November 27th and December 15th were possibly open to the attack by hackers that infiltrated the store’s point of sale system.

OVB Cardholders can rest assured that they have a 100%guarantee against fraudulent purchases. A letter from the bank regarding OVB’s next steps and replacement cards are already in route to those who may be included in Target’s breached information. As of the time of this posting, no fraud on any OVB card has been reported or found in connection with the Target incident.

There is no need to call the bank at this time. OVB asks its customers to remain vigilant. Monitor your accounts via NetTeller internet banking, EZ Cardinfo, OVB mobile banking, Text Message Banking, OVB ATMS, or OVB Line telephone banking and report any unusual transactions as soon as possible. Report any unusual activity to your nearest branch.
