In the past, banks have asked for your Mother's Maiden Name as one of many steps to verify your identity. While this is easy to remember and convenient, it can also be easy to find for identity thieves. To keep your money safe, Ohio Valley Bank is moving to the use of a Security Code in lieu of mother's maiden name.
To establish your Security Code, visit any Ohio Valley Bank office in person.
What should it be? The stronger the code, the better. We encourage you to use both numbers and letters. It should be something that no one else but you knows.
