GALLIPOLIS, Ohio - Ohio Valley Bank recently announced the promotion of Andrew Bush to bank officer. As assistant cashier and digital banking manager, Bush will continue to work in the corporate communications department.

Bush began his career at OVB in 2012 as an online communities manager. In 2019, he took on the role of digital banking manager. As digital banking manager, Bush has been instrumental in making major upgrades to both OVB Line and Digital Banking.

Bryna Butler, OVB senior vice president, corporate communications, described Bush as a dedicated and motivated leader.

“Andrew has time and time again been a trusted advisor in the realm of digital banking for our employees. He makes it a priority to learn as much as he can about new online services and trends, and his self-motivated drive to provide best-in-class service is admirable. He will make an excellent bank officer,” Butler said.

Bush is a 1998 graduate of Gallia Academy High School. He also received his bachelor’s degree in history from Marshall University in 2011. He currently resides in Proctorville with his wife Samantha; cat, Oliver; and dog, Parker.
