Free Resources for Learning about Money

Ohio Valley Bank offers the following resources for free to the youth in the communities it serves.

Contact Hope Roush for more information on any of these programs.

Use the OVB Mobile App to teach your kids about money.

If your child has a savings account or college CD at Ohio Valley Bank, they can use the OVB mobile app. It is a great way to teach them about the responsibility of money management.

Kids connected to the app can see their balances and transactions to and from the account. They can set their own savings goals in Benjamin Tracker and watch as they progress toward the finish line. You can prepare them to keep their money safe by showing them how to use alerts. Best of all, for those under 16, their access is view-only, so there is no need to worry about a little one accidentally moving money.

TIP: If you are a joint owner on your child's savings account, connect it to your NetTeller too and use transfer to send them their allowance electronically.

The OVB mobile app is a safe and interactive way to teach your kids about real world banking.
