POINT PLEASANT, W.Va.— Ohio Valley Bank recently announced the promotion of Andrea Hesson to assistant vice president, lead lender, Point Pleasant Office.

Hesson began her career at Ohio Valley Bank in 1997. She worked as a teller for many years before joining the bank’s lending team.

OVB Chairman of the Board Tom Wiseman praised Hesson for her dedication to both her work and community.

“Andrea’s dedication to the company and our Community First mission sets an example for us all to follow,” Wiseman said.

With her new role, Hesson described continuing to both build and maintain relationships with customers as her primary focus.

“I am excited to continue helping my customers reach their financial goals and needs, and to further Ohio Valley Bank’s mission of Community First,” she said.

In her community, Hesson serves on the Point Pleasant Junior/Senior High School Local School Improvement Council (LSIC). She enjoys volunteering for the Special Skills Track meet at the University of Rio Grande as well. She is also a member of the First Church of God in Point Pleasant.  

Hesson is a 1992 graduate of Gallia Academy High School. She currently resides in Point Pleasant with her husband, Craig. She is a proud mother and grandmother.
