GALLIPOLIS – Ohio Valley Bank recently promoted Harmony Jones as an officer of the company. Jones was named OVB Assistant Vice President I, Residential Operations Manager.
 
Jones began her career with OVB in 2009 working as a seasonal teller. She has since worked in other areas of the bank, including collections, prior to joining the residential loan processing department.
 
Brandon Huff, OVB Senior Vice President, Loan Operations & Efficiency, described Jones as being more than prepared to hold officer level responsibilities.
 
“This is a well-deserved promotion for Harmony. We know she will do a great job as she is open to change and always eager to learn,” Huff said.
 
Jones graduated from River Valley High School in 2004. She earned her history degree from the University of Rio Grande in 2010 and obtained her minor in banking in 2015. This spring, she graduated from the Ohio Bankers League Bank Leadership Institute.
 
Outside of work, Jones keeps active in her community by teaching fitness classes every week. She is very active with the Faith & Fitness Studio, a Christian fitness ministry, based in Jackson, Ohio. Jones is a member of the Community Christian Fellowship church, where she serves in various capacities, including teaching Sunday school classes. Jones is also planning a Mission Trip to the Dominican Republic.
 
Jones currently resides in Oak Hill, Ohio with her husband, Timothy.
