GALLIPOLIS, Ohio - Michaelanne Ours, Chloe Patrick, Nevaeh Stiltner, Bailey Fuller, Hannah Jackson, and Brady Dailey were named the 2026 recipients of the Ohio Valley Bank 4-H Scholarship. To date, the bank has helped 275 4-H members pay for college through the program.
Ours was named the Gallia County Scholar. She is the daughter of Jackie and Mike Ours. She is a graduate of South Gallia High School and plans to attend The Ohio State University to study agricultural communications. She is a member of the Pairs & Spares 4-H Club.
In Mason County, Patrick was named this year’s recipient. She is the daughter of Jamie and Melissa Patrick. She is a Point Pleasant High School graduate and will attend Valparaiso University to study integrated business and engineering. She is a member of the Roadrunners 4-H Club.
Stiltner was named the Pike County Scholar. She is the daughter of Sean and Amy Stiltner. She is a Waverly High School graduate and plans to attend Shawnee State University to study biomedical science. She is a member of the Barn Outlaws 4-H Club.
Lawrence County named Fuller as their 2026 recipient. Fuller is the daughter of Jerome and Shannon Fuller. She is a graduate of Rock High School and plans to attend Marshall or Ohio University to study communication disorder/hearing speech and language sciences. She is a member of the Gingham and Denim 4-H Club.
Jackson was named the Meigs County Scholar. She is the daughter of Rebecca Jackson and Tim Jackson. She is a graduate of Meigs High School and plans to attend Wright State University to study psychology. She is a member of the Next Generation 4-H Club.
In Jackson County, Dailey was named this year’s scholar. Dailey is the son of Jason and Erin Dailey. He is a graduate from Jackson High School and plans to attend The Ohio State University to study animal sciences. He is a member of the Country Critters 4-H Club.
Created in 1986, for more than 35 years the Ohio Valley Bank 4-H Scholarship Program has recognized outstanding high school seniors for their accomplishments in 4-H. Recipients receive $3,000 over four years which is typically presented to them during their respective county fairs.
Winners are determined by 4-H advisors and volunteers. Involvement in 4-H accounts for 50 percent of the decision. The other half considers the individual’s experiences in other groups and activities, academic accomplishments and potential for success.
