GALLIPOLIS – Ohio Valley Bank recently promoted Matthew Joos to assistant vice president I. Joos, who serves as the bank’s IT manager, began his career with OVB in 2017.
 
Frank Davison, OVB senior vice president, operations, applauded Joos for earning the bank officer designation.
 
“Matthew’s promotion to a bank officer is a direct result of his integrity and consistent ability and desire to raise up the IT department and everyone around him. I look forward to working with Matthew for many years,” Davison said.
 
Joos is a 2005 graduate of Wellston High School. He earned his associate’s degree in networking systems from the University of Rio Grande in 2007. He also obtained a bachelor’s degree in computer science from the University of Rio Grande in 2017.
 
Outside of work, Joos enjoys spending time with his wife of 12 years, Kayla, and son.
