GALLIPOLIS, Ohio—The Ohio Valley Bank Jackson Pike Office lobby reopened today with a special ribbon cutting ceremony.
The office, which underwent an extensive remodel, is now back to being fully operational with a new, modern look. To celebrate, OVB hosted a grand reopening event. As with the bank’s grand opening tradition, a money ribbon was used for the ceremonial ribbon cutting. Funds from the money ribbon, which was comprised of $2,000, were donated to the following local organizations: Field of Hope Community Campus; Gallia County Agricultural Society; Holzer Hospital Foundation; and Square One GJM. Each organization received $500.
“The renovation project included a refreshed exterior and small expansion, a redesigned open-concept lobby with teller pods, automated cash dispensers, new offices for loans, new accounts and customer service, and a new drive-thru teller workspace to service customers faster on busy days,” said Joel Elliott, branch operations manager of the Jackson Pike Office.
“It also included our brand new Community First Meeting Room. Anyone in the community will be able to use this space for events like club meetings, training, and wedding showers, and we will also be hosting our own events here from time to time.”
The celebration continues this week as anyone who stops by during business hours can enter for a chance to win one of three $150 cash prizes. Winners will be drawn this Friday.
