Ohio Valley Bank's Money Fund account is a high-yield money market account with check writing and withdrawal capability, giving you more freedom than a CD while earning a higher interest rate. 

  

Available for new Money Fund money market accounts when funded with money not already on deposit at OVB.

Minimum $10,000 to open. After 6 months, standard Money Fund rates apply.

Money Fund pays tiered interest based on balance. $10 monthly service charge applies if average monthly balance drops below $10,000.  As of 9/2/25, rates for balances of $10,000 or more range from 1.76% to 2.76% A.P.Y.
